I am a citizen of the world, hidden
Beneath dark Scottish stone.
I am a waking contradiction, a sleeping oasis of pleasure.
I look up at a chequered collection of monopoly pieces,
And down to crane-iron necks of development.
Tucked between two tall spires of morality,
I relish colourful depravity, as vivid as a rainbow!
I do not discriminate: all are welcome
To bring their trades and tastes, to
Create an epicurean's dream.
I am a strong pulse of energy, beating out heat,
A microcosm of humanity rising in the east.
